Place a sugar cube onto a spoon and add to it a couple of drops of Van Wees Angostura. Drop the soaked sugar cube into a champagne flute and add 20 ml of François Voyer Cognac VSOP, top up with Nicolo & Paradis Blanc de Blanc. Delish!

1 part Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Riesling Vermouth
5 parts Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Gin
And to garnish a green olive or lemon rind
Simply combine the gin and vermouth in a cocktail shaker, fill it halfway with ice and stir until well chilled. Once chilled, strain into a glass and finally garnish with an olive or a twist of lemon. For added effect (if you’re using lemon of course) run the slice of lemon around the rim of the glass.
To make your life even easier just pick up one of our Ferdinand’s Dry Martini Kits, all you’ll need then is the garnish that goes with.
New Year definitely calls for something new, so if you haven’t tried it before, make it mezcal. What we have here is a cocktail called Eyes Wide Shut made with the fabulous Del Maguey Mezcal.
The ingredients you need are:
35 ml Del Maguey Vida
50 ml Del Maguey Chichicapa
30 ml Walnut & Brazil Nut Orgeat
15 ml Cartron Poire William Liqueur
20 ml Pago Pear Juice
Shake all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker then strain into a rocks glass over cubed ice. For an added je ne sais quoi garnish with a dehydrated pear slice.

The Figranaga Cocktail could be your New Year show stopper. It’s a little trickier than the rest but don’t be alarmed this can be done. All you need is:
15ml Joseph Cartron Triple Sec
10ml Joseph Cartron Pomegranate Liqueur
15ml Carelli 34 Malbec 2013
20ml fresh lime juice
1 small spoonful of Fig jam
Frost the glass and rim with chili peppered salt. Pour all the ingredients in a shaker, shake and filter, then pour in to a glass.
